Broomstones' Team Pekowitz won the silver in the United States Curling U18 National
Championships in Lafayette, Colorado! The team, Julia Pekowitz, Addison Neil (skip), Kaylie Price, and Alex Pekowitz finished first in their round-robin pool and won a semi-final, before being edged 4-2 in the Championship by team Ryhochuck of St Paul, MN. Shelley Dropkin and Bill Pekowitz coached.
The team has come up through the Broomstones Juniors program, starting together when the majority were 11. Congratulations to Team Pekowiz!
