About the Logo

The Broomstones logo tells the story of the club's founding. The three arches represent the three clubs that came together to create Broomstones: Brae Burn, Wellesley, and Weston. A curling stone sits beneath the arches, centered on the button.

The geometry of the logo is derived directly from the curling house. The arch bases align to the 8-foot and 12-foot circles; the stone is centered on the 4-foot (button). The “BROOMSTONES” wordmark spans the full 12-foot width, and “CURLING CLUB” aligns with the second arch interior.

Legacy Shield Version

Patch, Pins, Banners Only

The arch at the top represents Broomstones and is based on the geometry of the outermost arch of the primary logo. The three clubs that came together under one roof to form Broomstones are represented by the traditional logos for the three clubs: a tree (Weston), a clover leaf (Brae Burn), and a horse and carriage (Wellesley). A curling stone is also included to unambiguously represent that Broomstones is a curling club.
