Something for every curler — competitive, social, morning, evening, and everything in between.
Broomstones offers a wide variety of leagues that accommodate curlers of all ages, abilities, and schedules. League registration opens each August for the Fall half and each January for the Winter half.
Evening Team Leagues
Presidents
TeamTuesdays at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm
The most competitive play at Broomstones. Teams play for the club championship. Full-season commitment required.
Derby
TeamMondays at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm
Mixed gender league with A and B divisions. The no-tick rule applies. Divided into Fall and Winter halves.
Finlay
TeamSundays at 4:00 pm, 6:15 pm, or 8:30 pm
The only weekend team-based league. Teams of four compete in a round robin format with an end-of-season playoff.
Evening Individual Leagues
Regatta
IndividualWednesdays at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm
Social, fun atmosphere. Register individually or with a partner — coordinators build balanced teams each half.
Loving Cup
IndividualSundays (two draws)
Great for beginners and experienced curlers alike. A welcoming league where coordinators mix experience levels to create balanced teams.
Chowder Bowl
IndividualFridays at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm
Social curling to start your weekend out right.
Curling McCurlFace
Group (1–4)Thursdays at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm
Register alone or with up to three friends. Coordinators build balanced teams from the registered groups.

Monday Morning Ladies

Pairs competition that transitions to four-person teams. Women's league for morning curlers.
Wintershield
IndividualRotating daytime (inter-club travel league)
Women's inter-club travel league offering friendly competition with curlers from other New England clubs.
Metropolitan (at The Country Club)
Per-night RSVPApproximately bi-weekly Tuesdays at 6:00 pm
Inter-club men's pickup league played at The Country Club in Brookline, drawing from multiple regional clubs. Runs October through March.

Pickup curling with two-person teams and modified stone placement. No registration required.
Saturday Morning Pick Up
Drop-inSaturdays at 9:00 am
Casual drop-in curling every Saturday morning. One dollar gets you on the ice and a coffee.

College League

Open to Boston-area college students. All experience levels welcome — mostly new curlers. First session free.
