Join one of the largest curling clubs in the Eastern US.

Broomstones is a member-run organization with a mission to promote the sport of curling and to provide curling opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit operating a 4-sheet facility in Wayland, MA — one of the largest clubs in the Eastern US and sixth largest nationally.

All members are asked to contribute a minimum of 8 volunteer hours per season and to uphold our community values of respect, equity, and the spirit of curling.

Membership Classes

Full (18+)

$365 / year
  • ·Access to all leagues, bonspiels, and club events
  • ·Unlimited substitutions in any league
  • ·Discounted practice ice reservations
  • ·Voting rights at membership meetings
  • ·Board eligibility (age 21+)

Social (18+)

$100 / year
  • ·For former or inactive curlers staying connected
  • ·No league play, practice ice, or substitutions
  • ·Week passes available for occasional ice time
  • ·One in-house bonspiel per year included
  • ·Full access to club social activities

Junior Program + 1 Adult League

$150 / year
  • ·Junior program participation (minimum 1 prior year)
  • ·One adult league
  • ·Eligible for pickup leagues
  • ·Unlimited substitutions in adult leagues

Junior Program Only

$150 / year
  • ·Little Rockers, Youth, or Juniors Program access
  • ·Bonspiel participation

New Curler Training Program (NCTP)

$200 / year
  • ·Friday evening 10-week intensive program
  • ·Path to Full Membership upon completion
  • ·~16–20 spots available per year

College Program Only

$60 / year
  • ·Full-time undergraduate or graduate students (18+)
  • ·Fridays 4–6pm
  • ·College Curling USA compliance required
  • ·First session free

How to Join

Due to current membership capacity, Broomstones maintains separate waitlists for experienced curlers and beginners.

  • Experienced curlers — added to the waitlist for Full Membership; spots open based on attrition each season.
  • Beginners — offered a Limited Membership + New Curler Training Program (NCTP) placement. Approximately 16–20 spots are available each year. Completing the NCTP is the path to Full Membership.
