Rental Agreement & Code of Conduct
Please review these terms before your visit — every group agrees to them at booking.
Arrival & Ice Time
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign waivers, fit shoe grippers, and review safety instructions. Your rental includes two hours of ice activities followed by one hour of socializing in the warm room. Ice time cannot be extended due to evening league preparations. Guests who arrive more than 30 minutes after the start time may not be allowed on the ice for safety reasons.
Payment & Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. Your deposit is refundable with at least 21 days’ notice before your event. The full remaining balance is due on the day of the rental. We accept cash, check, or credit card. Tipping for instructors and bartenders is appreciated.
Guest Count & Capacity
The rental price is based on the number of sheets of ice reserved. Each sheet accommodates a maximum of 10 participants. If your group size changes significantly, please notify us at least 14 days before the event so we can prepare the correct number of instructors and ice sheets.
Attire & Safety
Wear clean rubber-soled shoes (preferably sneakers). No boots — they do not fit well with the shoe grippers. No shoes with metal buckles or grommets, as they damage the ice. Dress in warm, loose-fitting layers: athletic pants and a layered shirt with a light jacket are ideal. The ice temperature is around 40°F, so gloves and hats are recommended. Avoid fleece and denim jeans, as they can be restrictive and shed on the ice.
Warm Room & Catering
Your rental includes one hour in the warm room, where our full bar will be open; additional warm-room time can be added at booking. All beverages must be purchased from the Broomstones bar. A list of local restaurants for catering can be provided on request. The kitchen is not to be used, but minimal staging for food setup is allowed. Renters are responsible for cleaning up food, decorations, and any other items brought into the club, and will be charged for any damages incurred during the rental.
