A two day and a half day skills camp with lead instructors Brian Chick and Jamie Sinclair.
Brian Chick is a Toronto-based curler, coach, writer, and communications professional with more than three decades of experience in the sport. Having lived and played in both Canada and the United States, Chick has been curling nearly 40 years and has spent roughly 25 years coaching at the high-performance level.
His coaching résumé includes international experience at multiple World Curling Championships, including coaching Switzerland’s Silvana Tirinzoni at the 2013 World Women’s Championship, as well as serving as a Canadian team leader at the World Juniors and FISU World University Games. He has also coached at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts and worked with university and club-level curlers.
Chick has remained active as both a player and instructor, including appearances as a curling professional and coach at camps in Canada and the United States. He has also served in communications and media roles with Curling Canada, combining his knowledge of the sport with a background in journalism, digital media, and broadcasting. He currently contributes as a writer for Curling Canada and as a founder of the Ice Pro Network.
Jamie Sinclair is an accomplished Canadian-American curler, coach, and curling broadcaster whose career has spanned elite competition on both sides of the border. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, and now based in the Ottawa area, Sinclair began making her mark in Canada as a junior, winning gold at the 2007 Canada Winter Games and bronze at the 2013 Canadian Junior Championship. She later skipped the Carleton Ravens to the 2014 Canadian university championship.
Sinclair went on to spend eight years competing for the United States, establishing herself as one of the country's leading curlers. She won three consecutive U.S. women's championships, in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and represented the United States at two World Women's Championships, finishing fourth in 2018 and seventh in 2019. She also twice reached the U.S. Olympic Trials final, narrowly missing the opportunity to represent the country at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
After returning to Canada, Sinclair continued to compete at the highest level, including an appearance at the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts with Team Quebec. Away from competition, she has built a career in design and renovation while developing Curl Up With Jamie, a coaching and educational platform aimed at making curling more accessible and enjoyable. She has also become a familiar voice in the sport as a curling analyst for NBC Sports, including assignments at the 2018 PyeongChang and 2022 Beijing Olympics and the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
