Membership Info

Broomstones offers a variety of options for adults, juniors and college aged students that promotes our mission to provide curling opportunities for persons of all ages and abilities. For adults, we have both daytime and evening leagues. Our league options include social leagues, team leagues, a women’s league, pick-up leagues and competitive leagues with varying costs depending on your interests. Our curling year begins in late September or early October and ends in early to mid April. See our club calendar for exact dates.

Broomstones is an all volunteer club. Every member is expected to contribute at least 8 hours of time to the club each season in some needed capacity. Our members agree to this code of conduct.

Due to capacity constraints, Broomstones does have a sizable waiting list for adults looking to join. On an annual basis, Broomstones will request that interested parties on our waitlist recertify their interest and update their data. This allows us to ensure that we are setting correct expectations for when waitlist parties may expect to be invited to join the club. Failure to recertify will result in removal from the waitlist.

New Curlers

Broomstones offers a required 10 session training league for new curlers who have not previously been an active member at a curling club. The league is offered on Friday nights beginning in the fall. Participants in this league are considered provisional members of Broomstones and will receive training from certified instructors on all aspects of the game. Successful completion of the league provides a path to upgraded membership status for the Spring session (beginning in January), and sets a solid foundation for your membership at Broomstones.

Experienced Curlers

If you are a curler who has been a member of another club, and therefore have prior curling experience, and you are interested in joining the Broomstones adult curling leagues, please complete this form to be included on our waiting list.

We regret that there is currently a sizable waitlist for adult curlers due to capacity constraints. This is the case for both new curlers and experienced curlers. For waitlisted prospective members, we do recommend that you explore other curling clubs in the area such as Colonial, North End, Merrimack Valley and South Shore Curling Clubs.
