Curling for a Cure

• Purpose: Supporting Huntington’s disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that impacts movement, cognition, and mental health. It's often described as a combination of ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s diseases, all manifesting simultaneously.

New Curler Training Program

This event will provide a fantastic opportunity to learn more about curling and our required New Curler Training Program, meet fellow enthusiasts, and get a hands-on introduction to the sport as well as set expectations for Fall participation in the full 10 week NCTP.

Time: 400p-630p

Cost: $20 per person

DEI Committee Social Networking, Food & Clinic: All members are encouraged to join this community building clinic focused on social networking, food, and curling delivery/sweeping instruction put on by the Broomstones Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee. The clinic will feature Athlete Ally, 3x US National champion, and Broomstones member Monica Walker. Come meet new people, have some appetizers, and learn quick tips for your delivery & sweeping technique. Date: 01March2025 6:30-9PM. Cost: $20 per person. Registration Open: 16Feb-28Feb2025. Format: Mixed gender teams of 4. Age is 21+. All meals included. 

First Draw depends on number of teams registered, but usually Friday morning
