Youth/Junior Program 2024-2025
The Broomstones Youth/Junior Curling Program is a developmental program that strives to provide the necessary skills and positive environment that will enable and encourage each of its participants to enjoy the sport of curling. With an emphasis on integrity, confidence and technique the program not only prepares the participants to successfully encounter the challenges of the sport, but also fosters important life skills.
While the program has many national level junior curlers, all are welcome from beginner to expert and every participant is encouraged to participate at the level they feel most comfortable. Are you interested in learning how to curl with a stick? Do you instruct at rentals and need to teach stick curling to others? Sore knees or hips? Knowing how to curl with a stick can be extremely beneficial. Come join the DEI Committee sponsored Stick Curling Clinic on December 14th from 12-2PM, featuring lead instructor Warren Barclay. This clinic is FREE and open to all curlers from Broomstones and surrounding clubs. Registration is open from November 1st to December 13th. Register today!

Along with great matches and seeing new and old friends, you will enjoy Thursday night jambalaya, Friday night steak fry, Saturday raw oyster bar, Broomstones famous "made-shot, missed-shot" elimination draw, and Crud tournament.
