The Broomstones golfers and their guests gathered at Wayland Country Club on Sunday, August 4th for 18 holes of golf and fun. Nine foursomes vied for the first-place finish, and bragging rights for the year. We had to endure a bit of liquid sunshine, but it was a good day to spend with fellow curlers. After the round, the players returned to Broomstones for the traditional barbeque prepared by Don Ritchie.
The scramble was won by Broomstones members Ky Winborn, Jared Wydysh, Rich Collier and Drew Lawrence who scored a 61. [See attached photo: L to R, Drew, Ky, Jared and Rich.]
